The transparent manhole is set on the top of the tank for lighting and ventilation during the installation and cleaning of the tank.
The daylighting of the oil tank is set on the top of the tank, which is generally a round hole with a diameter of 500mm. Usually, there is a hole cover ring which is tightly sealed by bolts. It is used for lighting, ventilation and exhaust when cleaning and repairing the oil tank. When only one light hole is set on the top of the tank, it shall be located on the top of the tank above the oil pipeline; when two light holes are set, the light holes and manholes shall be symmetrically distributed along the circumference as far as possible for lighting and ventilation, but at least one light hole shall be set near the platform of the tank top. The outer edge of the light hole shall be 800-1000mm away from the tank wall.
