1. Overview:

The light gas is mainly reflected in the operation or slight fault, the gas decomposed by oil rises into the gas relay, the air pressure makes the oil level fall, the open cup of the relay falls with the oil level, the light gas dry spring contact is connected to send a signal, when there is too much gas in the light gas, the gas can be discharged by the gas nozzle of the gas relay.

Heavy gas is mainly reflected in the transformer serious internal fault (especially the turn to turn short circuit and other faults that transformer protection can not act quickly). The strong gas pushes the oil flow to impact the baffle, and the magnet on the baffle attracts the dry spring contact of heavy gas, which makes the contact connect and trip.

Gas relay is divided into on load gas relay (oil pipe radius is generally 50mm or 80mm) and body gas relay (oil pipe radius is generally 80mm). There are different models of gas relay, such as float type, baffle type, open cup type, etc. For example, the signal circuit of qj-80 relay is connected to the open cup, and the trip circuit is connected to the lower baffle. The so-called gas protection signal action means that the signal circuit contact of the upper open cup in the relay is closed and the light plate light is on due to various reasons.
